As previously communicated, Central Hudson will be migrating to a cloud-based version of the Gas Tracking System (GTS) used to manage our natural gas Retail Access program. The new system is scheduled for Go Live for September 2025 business. There will be a period of overlap between the two systems with the final bill for August 2025 available for retrieval through September 30th in the legacy GTS while nominations for September 2025 will be input into the new cloud-based GTS starting August 19th. While some ESCOs may be familiar with the cloud-based version of GTS from working with other New York State utilities, we will offer online training via Microsoft Teams prior to the system going live. This training is tentatively planned for Thursday August 7th with a second session tentatively planned for the following week on Tuesday August 12th.
The new cloud-based GTS allows one (1) user from each ESCO to be identified as the ESCO’s GTS Security Administrator. The GTS Security Administrators will be setup prior to system Go Live. This role is new with the GTS upgrade. It will enable each ESCO to independently manage their own internal users in GTS going forward, and Central Hudson is requiring this functionality to be active. Each ESCO must fill out a GTS Website authorization form with the name and contact information of the individual they designate as their GTS Security Account Administrator. Please complete and return the form via e-mail by 7/18/25.
The new system will contain 6 years of historical data. It is recommended that ESCOs retrieve any desired historical information older than 6 years from the legacy system prior to September 2025.
